Common reasons a video downloader cannot prepare a link, including private posts, expired media URLs, region restrictions, and platform limits.
The Video Is Not Public
Private accounts, friends-only posts, password-protected videos, and restricted group content usually cannot be processed reliably.
Use a direct public video URL instead of a profile, feed, search result, playlist, or channel page.
The Source URL Expired
Some platforms return temporary media URLs. These links can expire quickly, especially after a browser tab is left open for a long time.
If a download fails after results appear, paste the original public video link again and generate fresh options.
The Platform Changed
Video platforms change page layouts, media delivery, rate limits, and public access behavior often.
When that happens, some links may fail until downloader providers update their processing logic.
